Cocktail time: make your own mojito!
Sometimes you just want to kick back on a Crashmat with a really refreshing and delicious cocktail; something that feels a little special and has just the right amount of kick to it; something that is actually quite easy to make yourself, and is likely to impress your friends if you entertain!
We haven’t met many people who don’t love a tasty mojito.
There’s something about the tartness of that lime, combined with the sweetness of the sugar. Oh my!
Here’s a recipe for a classic mojito. No mess, no fuss. Delicious!
Classic Mojito Recipe (as specified by the International Bartender’s Association)
●4 centilitres (cl) of white rum
●3 cl of fresh lime juice
●6 sprigs of mint
●2 tsp sugar
●Muddle the mint leaves with sugar and lime juice.
●Add a splash of soda water.
●Fill the glass with crushed/cracked ice.
●Pour in the rum.
●Top it off with some more soda water.
●Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lemon slice (or you could just use some leftover lime).
It’s honestly that simple!
So, dress up and invite your friends over for fancy (but so easy to make) pre-dinner drinks, or simply sip on a mojito in peace, lounging about on the back patio, on a gorgeous and comfy Crashmat. It really doesn’t matter how you enjoy it, as long as you do!
The main thing is that you now know how to make your own amazing mojitos and this will become a fantastic go-to recipe for years to come. It never goes out of style!
